Caliber 90 t3

DEADLINE222

Well-Known Member
I found this at a flea market today.

It has stampings all over the projectile and bottom of the casing which confirm they match.

"CAL 90 T3" seems that it would reveal the most informaiton.

The projectile is a millimeter or so wider than a U.S. Nickle coin.

What is it?

Hi ,
What you have ,(nice find by the way!) is a .90cal proof round.
I can't seem to attach pics at present but have a line drawing of this round ,so will add later.

cheers
Bob

Awesome Kahu1!

What weapon system utilized this round?

And what are we talking about in terms of value? Are these rare?

A very nice woman had it in her store's collection I have been trying to pry away from her for the past year. I spoke with her, and we connected. I told her that I was under the impression it was a proof round, and how nice it would look in my collection.

So against all logic, she smiled and gave it to me!

You silver tongued devil you!

This round is for a failed aircraft cannon.Check out the 'experimental munitions' thread, 20 x 139SR, plenty of info there.

Cheers,
Bob
