The same as many of you, I work away from my family, home and collection, and I only get back 2-3 times each year. When I do, I am always happy to open the collection and parts of my library for visits by interested persons doing research, fellow collectors, traders/sellers etc. I am currently (one last trip first) preparing to head home for my annual 5 week holiday return. I would like to offer an open invitation to BOCN members that might be interested in visiting during the period of 23 Nov - 31 Dec. A number of you that know me have already made arrangements, for those of you that would like to visit please PM me so that we can arrange dates (I'll be gone for at least 1 week on archive/museum visits).

As always, please - no energetic or toxic materials. I have a very good relationship with my local law enforcement agencies and fire department, I would like to keep it that way. JO

BTW, I suppose I should mention, I am in the center of Michigan, so bring mittens.

Submunition warhead for the 762mm Honest John rocket.

It was a parting gift from some friends.

For those making long trips we have cots and a couch - your call. The normal problem is just that I'm only around for a significant period once a year. We've had FL, PA, KS, AZ - Hazord has been there from out west - Last Dec we did Japapalooza II (just for Jap ordnance collectors), despite bad weather we had a pretty good turnout. In 2010 we are thinking about doing it again during warmer weather. The problem is that you are always conflicting with one show or another.
