Hi Ben, Looks more American to me. There is something stamped on the spike looks like 99* or *66. Can you read it?

It looks like 65, but i do not think that its made in 1965, regards Ben

Looks like the US M49 trip flare to me.

Try the lever off an M200 fuze mech, probably the same.
