I have a couple of questions, which i am hoping that the experts on here can answer, i have done a quick search on this forum but not found what i am looking for, here goes.
I have a couple of metal boxes, i am hoping to be able to repaint them. first one is marked B166 II 1942 F&L which has an internal divider at each end, which are folded over. The second is marked B167A MK1 MF 1945.
what would they have been used to hold? i know most of the markings would have been stenciled on, what would the colours of paint used? but would there have been any paper labels? if so what would they have looked like? thanks in anticipation.
