It comes from the "Handbook of Shell Charged With Chemical, Incendiary and Smoke Mixtures at present in use with the field armies, 1918". It was produced by the Inspection Department. Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. Dont know if there is a PDF version; wouldn't mind one if there is.
