Biker pub

Hello all. I have finally decided to grow some balls and go and live my dream.
I have always wanted to own a pub, and I intend to do just that.
It will be situated near Oxford, and will primarily be a bikers pub, free house.

I would be very greatfull if you could all post some ideas and views of what you would expect from a good pub. It will be family run, with food served throughout the day, though not with a seperate restraunt area.

What beers, ciders, lagers, wines, spirits, entertainment and theme evenings would you expect? What bar snacks, winter and summer meals, sandwiches, music etc?

If you like meetings etc, what would you expect to be laid on?

Any feedback would be great!

Music not a problem. Some real ales is what I was thinking. I have a mate who has just left the Police to start a micro brewery, so will be getting some quotes from him. Also, I was thinking of approaching the local micro breweries for some good local beers too.

I was thinking of getting an old school juke box loaded with some good rock and stuff. I was thinking of having it free play anyway.

I would probably have a suggestion box open for the first few months with music tastes , food and entertainment boxes on it.

An old dukebox would be a very good idea . Theres lots of classics on singles knocking about at bargain prices.
I think you already have all the ideas dude.

I have put a lot of thought into it over the past years, just haven't had the guts to give it a run.
