hi ya everybody

just got back from the hospital as they sent us home for the night as nothings really happening, so thought i would log on here before i go to bed to give you the latest update.
Thanks waff for keeping the forum informed of what happening with the baby, been able to log into the forum via my mobile phone but it wont let me do posts unfortunatly so been viewing the forum all day as its so boring just waiting around when nothings happening.
Thanks for the pm's wishing us well etc so the story so far is that karens water broke at the early hours this morning.
shes been having small contractions every half hour or so through out the day but nothing else has really happend.
The hospital is going to induce her at 8am wensday morning if nothing happens overnight so guess either tonight or tomorrow i am going to be a dad to a little baby girl.
i will keep you informed via waff who will post on the forum for me cheers waff.

Good luck..... hope everything goes well and everyone does fine....

Maybe play some polka music... thats sure to get things moving :xd:

Soooo, do inform us of the "calibre" and weight; our's came into this world as a healthy 6 Pr, and is now just about a 25 Pr.

Don't bother with the paperbag or bumpy road . Get 18pounder around there with his heat up the glued in bullet trick apparently it almost made him give birth to somthing. :tinysmile_shutup_t::tinysmile_kiss_t4::tinysmile_shutup_t:

They have induced her 3 times now and we were hoping something would happen last night but it didnt so they are going to put her on a drip this morning which will hopefully speed things along so really hope it does as its day 3 now and were knackered.
Shes ok as shes got a bed to lye on all i got is some crappy old looking wooden chair so i havnt felt my arse since tuesday morning and my backs killing me theres no way you can sleep on it i think its really pathetic the facilitys here for dads as were here just as much as they are.
we dont even get any food and have to walk off into town to get some and the vending machines in the ward are all out of action.
I am all for using the winch on our recovery truck at work to drag it out but the midwifes dont seem to like that idea or my favorite plan lets use explosives !!!!! i am sure i can get it out there just not trying hard enough lol
i will keep you all informed of whats happening but it will have to be when i pop home like i am now just getting a shower and i am keeping in touch with waff whos doing a great job of posting for me cheers waff.
I can view the forum on my mobile phone hense why a few of you have seen me logged in but i cant post on the site i can only view sites.

late babies

I just had a Grandson in November. It took 4 days after she went into labor until the baby finally arrived. Mom was spent, Dad was spent. Grandma and I were spent. But it was well worth the wait. I already bought him a plastic tank and Jeep pulling an artillery gun. Mom REALLY appreciated that. Good luck Bazooka Chris. Parenthood is the most awesome thing in life to be achieved. Dano
 
UPDATE :)

Chris text today to tell us all that he is the proud daddio to a little girl!
3.10pm today. nippers weight is 7lb,6 oz.
Karen and baby doing well.

We are all very happy for you and the girls Chris.:)
