Armstrong E? found today

I found this fuze, which I believe to be an Armstrong E, while beach detecting in Jersey today.
I think I can make out the date of 2/71 on the base.
Can someone please confirm the ID?
Thanks in advance

Hi,

Looks like an Armstrong E Mark II judging by the marking.
Armstrong E Mark II graduations were not engraved but were marked by means of a printed slip of paper.
But Mark III was approved in 1867, so I'm wondering why would Mark II still be manufactured in 1871. There is probably an explanation, but I don't know it.
Some of the community experts will probably know.
Infos from that book (available online) :
