Any ideas please

Does anyone have any ideas as to what this bag of delights might be??
It came from the estate of someone who served in Northern Ireland in the 1980's, apart from that noone knows.
Thanks.

Northern Ireland

The last picture looks to be some kind of hook or tow bar , what are the spanners made of and what are the marks please.

Look carefully for any part numbers and stuff.

I think they are armourers tools. The box (H90) could be for some sort of munitions. I suspect you have a rag tag collection and they are not all related.

Firing Pin

One of the items (pointed one end with a slot cut into the rear) is almost certainly a "Firing Pin" from a weapon, I do not know enough about rifles etc to determine which type it may come from.
Also the "crossed hairs" collar looks like part of a heavy calibre gun sight ?

The spanner with brass hammer head is definitely an armourers tool, had one in my bag of tricks years ago.

Tools and such

The spanner with the brass hammer looks identical to the General Purpose Wrench that the Canadian Army issues in the C-6 maintenance kit, for what we call the C-6 Machine Gun (FN MAG-58 7.62mm machine gun)

The two black disc are very similar to the bore sight tool used in the 84mm Carl Gustov SRAAW(M). The Canadian version is aluminum in colour, the one with the larger two holes in it goes in the rear of the bore and the other one goes in the front of the bore. The Canadian version has more of a dual post sight in the front one and does not have the cross hairs.

I am sorry the attached photos are so poor, one is of the C-6 tool kit, with the wrench at the top. The other is a diagram of the front and rear boresight and the view that would be seen when looking through the boresight.

Hope this is of some help.

Wow, thanks guys..I'll try to find any more markings and get my Daughter to do a better photo..my cameras not too hot.
The fellow who originally owned this lot died and his nephew gave it too me as it was going to be chucked out..the thing that looks like a tow bar  on the end of that curved arm..that part rotates and is knurled..odd.
I'll try and get back with some more info.
Thanks

I think these parts are for a US 60mm mortar, the brass wheel with the folding handle is for elevation. The British aquired some of these mortars from Interarms in the 60's.

The wrench is definately from a Mag58 /C6/ L7A2 MMG.
As mentioned the big black circles are a Carl Gustav 84mm Anti-tank rocket launcher L14A1. They are bore sights.

There are some 60mm mortar parts as well.
