It's not a piece of military hardware, but a piece belonging to an espionage museum. In fact the only example I have seen is owned by H. Keith Melton. it's shown in his "Ultimate Spy" book
It is a black box 7"long x 4"wide x 2"tall. It has metal "cleats" to tie it down, a locking screw on one end, and a pull ring for it's arming delay on the other end.
Powered by two D cell batteries,an electric detonator, and holding about 11 ounces of C-4, and using a trembler/tilt switch that looks like 2 dowsing rods with a metal contact going over the long (swinging) end of the weighted dowsing rods. It has a mechanical arming delay, and was designed to go in the middle of someones desk drawer, to go off when the drawer was opened.
It had a stock number of 1345-H00-0010.
Has anyone else seen this? Have you seen it for sale?
