This piece is made of plastic and I assume post WW2 although there are no dates on it. Identification appreciated. :tinysmile_grin_t:

This looks like one of the varients of fuzes found on the 71mm Lyran illumination mortar round.I think these are origianally swedish in design but have been adopted by different countries,my varient is PRB marked (belgium)Usually you only see the top part of the fuze as the rest is enclosed by the mortars upper body section(see photo),these have 3 settings to set burning times which once selected are initiated by a set back firing pin when the round is fired ,ive attached a couple of pics,,the sectioned fuze is mine,removed from the top section shown,hope this helps
