Am i reading this items description correct

This is a topsecret german incendiary bomb, you can see at the altered fins. Or something like it.

Sounds like a case of `friendly-fire` then?? Isn`t that a british mortar round?,or is it a cheesy `throw together`?? :X

That prat lives 10 minutes away from me (sutton in ashfield ) i'm afraid to say people like that deserve to wear what they misdescribe internally .

Modified 2 inch mortar then boys !! Fins are a bit different but otherwise looks standard.

Some tale !:silly:

And you know what, he will sell it for a "bomb" if you'l excuse the pun.:woohoo:

Is it worth contacting the guy to tell him that its not what he thinks?
Perhaps some newbie collector is going to get stitched up with it?:(

i just sent him message through ebay ,see if we get any answers ,,there was another on the other week with same type of description "german incendiary" why dont they just put "unknown item" instead of coming up with totaly wrong descriptions ............

Hi just emailed the seller explaining if this was dropped on her ack ack battery there should have been a court of enquiry as to why a mortar bomb was lobbed on the battery , unless they were aiming at the cook !
Steve

I think they wanted to give the germans a better sight were the cook whas.

  :woohoo:

Cheers Mad B)

 Its either going to get pulled or the seller is doing a dodge with the correct info on purpose?. Knowing Ebay then its the latter!
