Hallo,
this is interesting only for mine buffs. Most of this circular is concerned with safety in the laying, transporting and storing of mines. Apparently quite many accidents had happened. One page is a form that was to be filled out when an accident with mines happened. "Anlage 2, 3, 4 and 5" are interesting. These show improvised modes of safeties during the laying of mines: 2: wooden pegs, 3: twisted wire loop, 4: stamped out sheetmetal shoe 5: metallic tube with attached springwire. The pamphlet says that these were tested and used by a Pionier Batillion. Soldiers were encouraged to send in ideas for improvements of gear, weapons and munitions. Good ideas were honoured with money payments. The 2. document is concerned only with proper safety measures in the laying, transport and storage of mines.
