Please do not deleate out of hand.
My local museum has asked if it needs to have a registered company inert it ordnance. They have tried the Police and Council but no one seems to have any idea what is required to show that an item is inert, and who is deemed competent in law to say something is inert or not. This is obviously for items on display to the general public not private displays.
I know that the Home Office licenses those museums with firearms and live ammunition but there is scant info on proving an item is Inert or not.
can anyone shed light on this?
Thanks
