Just picked up these bundles and thought these might be of interest. The 455 Auto Mk I has an unusual tying of the string and a different date to that I have normally seen (ie. 30/1/19). The contents are headstamped E.18 I.
The Indian 455 Revolver Mk II bundle is the first I have come across of this vintage and was in a deplorable state although the wrapper was clean. The contained 12 rounds were very tacky but a couple of hours in a "Cream of Tartar" solution got rid of most of the gunk. The wrapper has I.A. 237 top left of the print. Headstamp K^F 41 II.
