I can only tell you I remade that cutaway some fifteen years ago from an existing 90 degrees one (but badly cut), as far as I can remember it was all Mecar or PRB stuff. Are you shure the cut shellcase is not around somewhere?

Hi Chris,

MMJ = Metallurgie SA, Malines (Mechelen), Belgium

For more Int, wait, wait, wait,...

The nomenclature sounds like Austrian German and the Austrians had T34/85 back in the early post war days (but do not know when they were phased out). Maybe their attempt to improve the ammo for the tank gun.

Pzgr40 I noticed straight away that it is one of your cutaways and the shellcase is not came up jet.
probally somewhere in another pallet.

Yoda thank you for the information about the factory I have never heard of this one are they still in business?

EOD I will have a look in that direction thank you

Chris

Apparently they are still on business but no more in ammunition !
They made only the metallic parts of shells for MECAR and PRB !

MMJ also made the 90mm 'cockerill' projectiles and shells for PRB & Mecar

@yodamaster: wasn't MMJ located at "Werkhuizen Van den Bossche" at Mechelen ?
