Hi everyone,
picked up this 6.5 Arisaka the other day,it has no headstamp,which I believe to be the norm on wartime examples of these rounds.
But any that I have seen have had three stake crimps for the primer cap,as you can see from the photo this one has not.
I have seen some where that the stake type crimps was for use in MG's,not sure if these rounds were used in a MG or could be a earlier round before used in MG?
Any help on this would be appreciated
