Very nice indeed. Hard to get the tungsten core projectile with the correct case.
Excellent stencil markings on the base.
Hope you don't mind me asking but was this one expensive?

SG

I dont mind at all,i can tell you that it was 3 figures but i managed to get a deal on all the PaK and KwK rounds.
I was debating it for a while and then thought `"Oh sod it!",and bought the lot!
PM`ing you now.

Very nice indeed panzergranate. Thank you for posting the picture.

I still need a 3.7cm and 5cm Pak pzgr40 to complete my 3.7cm and 5cm ammo. So if you know of any for sale the help would be much appreciated.

Hi
I'm new to this forum. I was at Beltring this year and saw the two rounds you are after at a German sellers stall. They wanted 250 pounds for each one. I couldn't afford them so purchased a pile of other stuff.

See ya

Iain

Welcome to the forum Iain.
Beltring is a long way from Australia.

250 pounds is just crazy money for just the 3,7cm or the 5cm arrowhead. Even if I had that sort of money to throw away I wouldn't pay prices like that.

Btw what do you collect?

Hello
No I wish I had, I spent about 2,000 pounds on most things from 13mm to 50mm
Also bought a nice SS belt buckle, M42 helmet, and a few other things. Next year I am after everything from 7.5cm up. I have decided to go all out and am allowing five figures for my budget. Were you in the big ordnance tent?
Thanks
Iain
PS I was with the guys from Platoon

Hi Iain,

I was at stall `I-7` with Mick and skippy.

Here is a couple of shots of our stall.

cheers

Hi just a few more photos of 5cm rounds and again the good work of pzgr40, excellent work too and now safely in Wales. I sectioned the short cased version of one of these arrowheads myself a couple of years ago and it was extremely difficult to do, will post a picture sometime, unfortunately its at the back of one of the displays and really difficult to get to.
Yes I know the case isn't the correct one for the arrowhead (crimping is in the wrong place) but its a bit tricky to find a spare case with the correct crimping.
Dave.

Wow...excellent looking job indeed. I never knew DJH did commissioned work for other people or is this just a spare he had?
I know what you mean about the 5cm long case. I have been looking for a long time so if you find one don't be giving it to pzgr40 to cut :tinysmile_grin_t:.

Happy days! Its a small world matey! :tinysmile_grin_t:
The case prolly belonged to Skippy or Mick.I only had a pitiful amount of stuff to sell.

Thanks Lads for the extra pictures and info on this thread.
That round of mine may be going to Micks soon in part-ex for another item ive been after for a long time.
Pity really as i really like this 5cm round but it looks like this financial meltdown aint stopping for a long time yet.
Swaps and part-ex maybe the way forward for me?
Anyways, lets have some more 5cm pics please!!
best
