Thanks Tony, just booked marked that site, TonyE has done a brilliant job, it looks like a practice one, be nice to find a case for it.
Cheers

Thanks for the compliments about the website. It takes a lot of time but I am slowly working my way through the calibres. I want to get the .30 inch done this week (specially for smle2009!).

Your 325 grain bullet does not match any approved Boys bullet. If it is a typo for 425 grains then it is from the Practice Mark II and is aluminium cored. If it really weighs 325 grains then perhaps it is from one of the non standard drill rounds, as the bullet for the D mark I should weigh 380 grains.

You will probably be hard pushed to find a spare P Mark II case. It is not a very well struck headstamp but this is what you should be looking for!

Regards
TonyE

Thanks Tony, yes brilliant work well done, just weigh it again and it is 325 grain and looks like an aluminum core,i will have to keep a look out for a non standard case then.

It crossed my mind that it might be a drill bullet from a .5 Vickers, but a quick check revealed that was 380 grains also!

It is an odd one.

Cheers,
Tony
