3D printed replicas of shells and other ordnance

Sharing my recent 3D modelling work - thanks to sources of information I found on here and other websites, here are my newly designed and 3D printed replicas of the QF 3.7 in HAA shell and Bofors L/60 shell. My uncle asked for these originally, they’re seen here posed in his original shell casingsf7de9f5c-abc6-448c-95d6-bd2676ccabea.jpeg15948cd2-68e6-4034-b892-23a935b7822a.jpeg

To add the fuzes of both these replicas are currently not detailed yet, however he is sending me the fuzes off his original shells so I can accurately recreate the features on them

Not wishing to detract from your good work. However, the Gaine code is incorrect -
G - Gaine
No of gaine - 11 (Arabic not Roman)
Mark of gaine - I (Roman)
Lot of gaine - 3 (Arabic)

With respect to the Method of filling code - 8039, I stand to be corrected, but I'm only aware of one TNT code which was 8029.

No worries here, I'll gladly listen to constructive criticism :) thanks for letting me know, it'll be updated in due course

Nice work! I know replicas draw real ire from some in the collecting community, but I hate displaying just empty cases. I’d much prefer to display a “complete” round even if that means with a replica projectile. I’ve printed several projectiles myself.

Courtesy of the uncle who I initially started this project for, I got hold of a No.207 Clockwork Fuze and produced a nice CAD model of it. With the addition of changes to the gaine markings, I’m very happy with how this has come out

Adding to this post a plethora of photos of replica projectiles I have made since posting about this (and a few 3D models I'm working on converting into full size replicas)
