What we have here is a German projectile in what appears to be a French case.

Due to slow internet speed, the proud owner of this round has forwarded the pics and these thoughts for posting here.
There are 2 waffenamt, the letter C and 3015 on the driving band.
53 FDL 1937 C is stamped on the bottom of the projectile.
1937 Rh.S 238??

Headstamp reads: 7Mle 1938
(over) ARS.71.40.S

I think it is a French Case and German Projectile.

I was told the Germans put German projectiles in French cases when the factories were taken.

The question is: Is this a right and proper loading?
