.303 MG used after laying in peat bog for 70 years

The gun that they fired was actually a composite of all the best bits of the eight guns that were recovered from the Spitfire, but it was still an amazing project.

As for the ammo, that was from Irish army stocks and not from the bog. It was probably made by FN as that was the last Irish .303 contract that I know of.
