.303 inch packet labels

TonyE

HONOURED MEMBER RIP
Does anybody have a label from a WW2 British (or Commonwealth) tin of grenade discharger cartridges? Either H Mark I or II or preferably both.

I would greatly appreciate a scan if you do. I have an H Mark I tin somewhere but cannot find it at present.

Also, two labels attached for Western contract ammo. This was purchased by Britain and is not Lend Lease. Western labels are harder to find than Winchester ones (who made the bulk of this contract ammo) so I was pleased to obtain the RAF Red Label one recently. Note that both the ordinary and Red Label were produced in December 1940, only a few lots apart.

Regards
TonyE

TonyE, At www.oldammo.com in the picture pages for Dec 2008 is a H Mark II tin with label which has a sticker for line throwing, also headstamp. I think somewhere in this forum are pictures of Canadian and Australian grenade cartridge tins.
