28cm SK L/45 -50 1915 dated

Tuesday evening was the 95th anniversary of the Skagerrakschlacht (Battle of Jutland.) To commemorate this critical naval battle, the only clash of titans in modern history, two items for your viewing interest.

Both could very well have been on the High Seas Fleet 95 years ago this evening. Enjoy.

Tony,

Very excellent explanation of the cartridge case markings, and the ships/guns that fired them. Is the cartridge case yours? It is very nice.

Absolutely sweet casing and I always like The Battle of Jutland to be remembered, seems to be a two sided coin as to who won..........Dano
