Hi to all,
I have come across some contradictory information on the projectile colour codes for British 20x110mm Hispano rounds....In Labbett and Meads TAG series 2 pamphlet 6 they state that in 1959 that mid buff(HE) was changed to deep bronze green, for example a HE-I would have the top half of the body and fuze deep bronze green and the bottom half signal red instead of the buff/red combination......yet I also have a 1970 dated Air Publication that states The HE-I was still buff/red at this time(1970)
Any ideas or has anyone come across a green/red combination?
Also has anyone got a photo of the 20x110 British Oerlikon HE-I,HE-T or HEI-T were the top half of the projectile and fuze is painted light blue to denote SD (self destruct)?
Cheers
Tony
