Hi,

Realy nice restoration, I have a L39 A1 smoke TK that will need re finishing at some point. Is there a paint code for the green on the smoke projectile? Or a very good guess!

Cheers
alex

Hi alex this one was painted buy a mate i have seen the smoke ones in different shades of green sometimes its hard to tell if its just aged etc .the blue one i used color coded cards .i can find out the codes for my retore jobs as i can get access to all paint matching cards through my brother in law . I have noticed one of my old original blue prac projectiles has dulled over the years almost green/ blue looking . I will see if i can get the original smoke color code because if my 105 is wrong i will re do it .
Cheers ken

Uk paint i have listed for recent smoke rounds is to UK BS 381C "Eau-de-Nil No216" hope this helps

i used my brother in law's color code cards, i.ll get the card code later today as i need another one done as well . he took it to work and done a pro paint on it looks great .
