Evening,

Just purchased this item, a 105PzK M68, lot 691, RLB-01/92, APFSDS-T

Sadly no primer but the case is in rather good nick, bit flared at the top but this is due to firing. Nice projectile with this marked, 105mm TK PRAC DS 6-86, SX 149 GE RLB

This is the biggest piece in my collection so far!:tinysmile_shy_t:

Regards,

Matt

Nice addition

That is a really nice addition to any collection Matt !

Now all you need to look for is:smile::tinysmile_fatgrin_t

The proper term for your projectile would be TPDS-T, Target Practice Discarding Sabot-Tracer. The FS stands for fin stabilized, and yours is the older model before fins. In addition, yours would be referred to as a pot-style APDS because the whole sabot falls off the back and is pot shaped, whereas the other style would be a petal-style where the petals peel off the sides into pieces like the petals of a flower opening up.

Cheers for the extra info on the projectile, i bought this item thinking the case and projectile details did not match the case(APFSDS stamped on it) and as you say the projectile is TPDS-T. is my thought correct? I figured that i only gave 35.00 for the case and projectile i couldnt loose

Cheers again!

Nice round westyork123, the price you paid is very reasonable.
Dave.

Matt,

You got a hell of a good deal on the round. Yes it is composed of a case from one round (APFSDS-T) and the TPDS-T projo from a different round.
