10 cm WW2 german projectile?
Hi all,
I received this item in a lot I bought,
I mostly collect WW1 ammunition, but this puzzles me..
It seems WW2 to me, because of its more 'aerodynamic' shape and iron(?) driving band?
Below the driving band it's 10 cm and the height is 40 cm top to bottom...
Bottom diameter is 8.5 cm ,
top outer diameter is 6 cm, top inner diameter is 4.5 cm (both approx., don't know 100% because half of the top is missing...)
I can't find any markings... Also its origin of finding is not clear to me so I can't know anymore about it...
Hopefully someone can shed some wisdom over this item, thanks in advance!
