QUOTE=2pounder]Hi, recently got what I thought was a 47 x 130R canister round that had been slightly trench arted by having bits soldered on. Going thru the search I came across a posting by Hazord showing the above round. The projectile looks exactly like mine but the case I have has 4 brass rivets holding on a brass base with 1891 and the Hotchkiss logo BHB and LOT stamped, it is a drawn brass case and has what appears to be two circular bands around it just above the rim. Was the drawn brass body and riveted base between the wraped and solid cases, historicaly? Can you shed any more info please? Dont want to post this on the forum as the person I got it off is a member and by the price he asked am certain he did not know what it was. I only wanted it for the case and thought the canister was incorrect. Now I'm not sure. Thanks. Clive - 2pr
