Those HXP 48 round packets were issued to cadets in the UK in the 1980's when other supplies dried up. Earlier, .303" Vickers fabric belts were cut up into short lengths, about 25 rounds and issued to cadets, it was cheaper than repacking them. Units kept supplies of used chargers and the cadets filled them from the loose rounds before their shoot.gravelbelly
