We used to find them in the impact area at Baumholder. I'd probably have to dig quite a bit to find them but if I remember correctly they are either German or French and the only version I ever saw was practice and they were painted blue with white markings.

If I can find more I will post it.

Canadian Heller

Definitely looks like the Heller. I have pictures and drawings at work, I will scan and post them tomorrow as unfortunately I don't have them at home.

I've got one, here's a photo.

3.2 inch Heller

Went for a Sunday drive and picked these up. The scanner is broken, so hopefully these photos of the diagrams are clear enough for your use.

Heller Dummy

As obtained today --

Has dark blue over light blue, so started out as a practice round.

I will likely drop it into the classifieds shortly.

I know its 2 years late but I'm trying to find out as much info on the Canadian Heller as I can so as to make 1/6 scale model. Has anyone got anything to add to this discussion any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

kept wondering why this round was stuck in the back of my mind, then as I was going through some old lesson plans when I taught ground ordnance at Indian Head I realized we taught it as a foreign rocket. That was in the mid 70's.

Here ... according to the museum ... is the Canadian Heller. Does anyone have the actual nomenclature for the item?

Length: 720-MM

Joe
